VUE cinema's big secret
The Vue chain of cinemas are trying an interesting approach to marketing their new release. They're not telling you what it is. No poster, no spiel, no clue. Just an invitation to buy a ticket to the cinema for a surprise they guarantee will entertain.I thought this sounded like a refreshing idea so I'm going to go along and see for myself. I'll let you know of it was worth not having the hype.
Tickets for all the performances can be purchased at www.myvue.com/mysterymovies/. They take place on the 5th of May across the UK.

THIS week sees the arrival of two new releases that are guaranteed to have film fans flocking to Vue at Ocean Plaza.
Hancock sees Will Smith playing a depressed, reluctant superhero who makes a last-ditch attempt to change his image, while in Kung Fu Panda, 000-223 Jack Black joins a host of celebrities in providing the voices for what looks set to be the animation of the summer.
Hancock (12A) new release:
John Hancock, played by Will Smith, is a hard-living, reluctant 350-001 superhero who has fallen out of favour with the public. Hancock’s world changes when he saves the life of Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman) a public relations executive who makes it 70-536 his mission to change the superhero’s image.

Kung Fu Panda (U) new release:
With a star-studded cast of voices, including Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman and Angelina Jolie, this animated tale follows 642-974 Po, an unlikely hero in the form of a lazy panda, who must somehow become a Kung Fu Master in order to save the Valley of Peace from a villainous snow leopard, Tai Lung.
