Coming home (in style)

Not perturbed by yesterdays dreadful train crash on the west coast line (a train I had planned to be on earlier in the week) I am travelling from London to Glasgow returning to my desk.

All in I feel pretty spoilt. It ain't the Orient Express but a cheap upgrade to 1st class furnishes me with hot tea and biscuits on demand, internet connection and a kind of compartment all to myself. If you have to travel with a hangover this is a pretty good way of doing it. (Last night was my last night in London and the end of our shoot so Hugh and I went out and drank like a couple of hobos gatecrashing a methylated spirits convention, natch.)

Just to fill you in: I have been on a kind of blogging sabbatical as some of you will know, working with Hugh Macleod and Stormhoek, the South African vineyard that is his going concern. We've been travelling round the country making little films of his experiences on the road as he pimps his wine and goes in search of that special someone.

You can watch all the mini-movies at www.stormhoek.com and the final episode will be out this week.

The good news is that as well shooting stuff for Hugh I also have a bit of footage from Berlin that I got while I was out there at the première. I thought I'd try and cut it into some form of montage / flavour of the night type thingy during the week. I should have something for you soon, apologies for the delay.

P.S. It's nice to be back by the way x
