As for awards,I have no idea on how all this works, but if they are going by the critics, Jamie, David and the film are sure to get something! There are the BIFA and BAFTA things Hallam Foe can qualify for this year right? Go Hallam Go :)

it`s obviously very hard now to top nic roeg`s praise,but i shall try nevertheless:o) i saw hallam foe in berlin this year,where i live and always work during the festival. it touched me profoundly and i have been wanting to write to you ever since,but somehow haven`t managed. it`s beautiful and honest and funny and also incredibly sad. what i loved most is that a lot of the things hallam does, one would probably find quite revolting in an other film. but here,what he does simply has to be and is free from anything sick or twisted,it`s just him and he is so loveable. if you ever come to berlin,you are very welcome to come and visit,i shall bake you my famous death-by-chocolate-cake as a thank you for this film:-) all the best from germany, anja
