Actually, I've always wanted to visit Edinburgh, it's been kinda the city of my dream (it's a long story, so never mind). I also wanted to see Jamie Bell before he's become a mainstream star working with Edward Zwick etc. lol
So I already have the ticket for the premiere -
But no, not this year. I still don't have a visa (getting a British visa if you're a single Russian woman and younger than 80 has become almost impossible recently), so I won't be able to come to the UK this summer at all.
No need to say it sucks a little bit. Just a little bit..

P.S. Colin, if I'll get at least the German visa (I'm not sure - I'm still a single Russian woman, damn it! - I'll get the answer on Monday), I'll probably be in Berlin during the Fantasy FilmFest so I could contribute to the blog, if you still think it would be interesting... I'm not sure, cause it's such a small thing, nothing in comparison with the EIFF...

really looking forward to the film; will see it at our local the Electric Cinema . saw our Alice & Astrid flowing silk dressing gown in the underwater and leg waxing scenes , i haven't seen the frill dress as worn by the stepmother?. is there any way of obtaining stills. If anyone wants one we have two V frill dresses in the shop and will be getting 4 dressing gowns in for the winter

Woo! (this is a bit off topic but still...) Hallam Foe is playing in the cinema where I work! we got the flyers and whatnot today...I'm so excited, (although i'll probably get the sack as a result..."where's hannah? I need her to do some work", " in watching hallam foe again", "again?!?", "yep"...) ah well...have been talking the film up muchly to all the customers you'l be pleased to hear! bring on the 31st!
